Volunteer

Picture
Every Scouting adventure begins with a caring adult. Whether you have a few hours each month or are interested in a leadership role, there are opportunities for everyone to help deliver the Scouting program and make a lasting impact on local youth.

As a volunteer you will:
  • Make a positive impact on local youth
  • Share your skills and experience
  • Support outdoor adventures and leadership development
  • Strengthen your community
  • Meet other dedicated volunteers
  • Help shape the future of Scouting

No prior Scouting experience is required—just a desire to help young people grow and succeed.

Unit Leaders

Work directly with youth as a Cub Scout Leader, Scoutmaster, Assistant, Advisor, or other unit volunteer. Help deliver fun, educational, and outdoor experiences while mentoring the next generation of leaders

Committee Members

Support local Scouting units through planning, administration, fundraising, advancement, and program support. A great way to help without attending every meeting or activity

Merit Badge Counselors

Share your hobbies, skills, career experience, or special interests with Scouts working toward merit badges. Whether you’re an engineer, artist, mechanic, nurse, or photographer, your knowledge can make a difference

Event Volunteers

Assist with camporees, Pinewood Derbies, Scout Expos, fundraising events, service projects, and other council and district activities. Volunteer as often as your schedule allows

Commissioners And District Volunteers

Help strengthen local Scouting units by supporting leaders, promoting training, and improving communication throughout the district
