Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the Colonial Virginia Council. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, assisting with payroll and reporting functions, and supporting the financial integrity of the Council in accordance with Scouting America policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, organized, and committed to supporting the mission of Scouting America through strong financial stewardship and professional customer service.
