The Colonial Virginia Council will be sending a contingent of four troops to the National Jamboree. Selection of the four Scoutmasters will be made by September 15th. To be considered for one of the four Scoutmaster positions interested Scouters must have completed Wood Badge and submitted their application, along with a $200 deposit, by August 29th.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd assistant Scoutmasters will be selected by October 15th. To be considered for one of these positions interested Scouters must submit their application, along with a $200 deposit, by September 30th.
There will be 144 positions for Scouts who wish to attend. Applications are coming in at a very fast pace. Scouts need to submit an application along with a $200 deposit to hold a position. They must also maintain the payment schedule to ensure that their position is held. Registration forms are available in the Scout Shop along with the brochure that explains the requirements.
