About the Districts

The Colonial Virginia Council serves the cities of Emporia, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Poquson, Suffolk and Williamsburg, Also, the council serves the town of Smithfield as well as the counties of Brunswick, Gloucester, Greensville, Isle of Wight, James City, Mathews, Surry, Southampton and York.

In order to better serve these cities, they have been divided into districts, each with their own scouting professional to assist them.
