Duties of Officers

Chairman
     
Preside at all meetings.
    Follow Parliamentary Procedure within the meetings.
    Set goals for length of term and a vision for the future. Establish a plan for the coming year.
    Appoint any special committees and oversee their operation. Provide guidance and support for those committees.
    See that regular elections are duly called, noticed, and held.
    Be an active member at the WBA events and promotions.

Vice Chairman
     
Preside at any meeting that the Chairman is unable to attend.
    Follow Parliamentary Procedure within the meetings.
    Oversee committees to make sure they are doing what is needed. Provide guidance and support but let the committees do their job.
    Be an active member at the WBA events and promotions.
    Help recruit Wood Badgers

Secretary
     
Keep records of all proceedings of WBA meetings. Take the minutes of all meetings.
    Have custody and keep and maintain general records of the Association, including records of minutes; attendance; committee appointments; elections; membership rosters and addresses and contact information.
    Be responsible for correspondence with the members of the WBA.
    Keep records of the members within the committees formed and duties given.

Treasurer
     
Be responsible for collection of WBA members' dues. Keep the WBA Secretary updated regularly to keep the records current.
    Is responsible for the budget of the Association. Presents budgets for general membership approval.
    Keep records of all monies taken in or paid out for the WBA.
    Works with the Secretary to supervise the prompt collection of Association dues.
    Keep separate records of dues money taken in and fund raisers monies.
    Present the Treasurers report at all meetings.
    Be responsible for paying for all WBA purchases and expenses working within the established procedure of going through the Colonial Virginia Council Office.
